July 4
- 5:00am departure from Cusco to avoid porter strike.
- Breakfast at Calca- We were all freezing cold and not awake yet...
- Trek began in Tortora Canyon
- lunch then bus to Lares (visited the hot springs)
- hike from Lares to Huacahuasi camp
